The 1980s will make a return to Stoke-on-Trent at a themed party night raising money for a children’s hospice.
The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice will hosts its I Love 80s Party Night at The Moat House Hotel, in Festival Park, in Stoke-on-Trent on March 23.
The evening will start with a three-course meal before tribute group Just 80s take to the stage to perform the hits of the decade from A-ha to Whitesnake.
Money raised will help the hospice continue its work, providing specialist care and support services to children with a shortened life expectancy and their families in Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
The care and support is offered free of charge, and the charity needs to raise £2.4 million a year to run its services.
Katy Burgess-Lowe, event organiser, said: “I’ve already got my leg warmers ready and we’ve been going through the music in the office trying to pick out our favourite tracks from Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, David Bowie and The Police.”
Tickets cost £30. To buy a ticket, call Katy on 01782 6544444 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
